We are a place that empowers your children to become heroes and enables them to experience God’s presence in an atmosphere of fun! At Hero Kids, your kids will not only discover how deeply God loves them, but they will develop the gifts and talents He places within each of them. It is our mission to partner with you as parents! We provide the resources for your children to grow in their relationship with God!
Hero Kids Services
Kids ministry is offered at every Pillar service for kids ages infant through 6th grade. We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week – and at Gateway, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Hero Kids services at Gateway the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in.

What can I expect when I arrive for the first time?
Upon arrival, walk to the First Time kiosk in the Kids lobby. One of our agents will assist you. We’ll ask for some important information: name, number, email, and medical notes. You will receive a name tag for each child attending and one matching parent tag. Please retain the parent tag until check out, this is a security measure we have in place for the safety of all children. Once tags are printed, we will walk you through how to drop off your children.
How do I know my child is safe?
Safety of all children is our highest priority. Name tags and parent tags help us to ensure the right person is picking up at check out. All leaders have gone through an onboarding process where they complete background checks, and ministry safe training. Leaders are identified by a name badge and/or Hero Kids shirt.
What will my child learn in Hero Kids?
Our ministry is specifically designed to unpredictably pursue the hearts of children in such a way that they grow from an understanding of who God is, into a fully active relationship with Jesus Christ. Our desire is to help kids DISCOVER how deeply God loves them, DEVELOP the gifts and talents He has placed within them, and DEPLOY them into their families, communities, and beyond to show God’s amazing love toward others.

How can I schedule a CARE Appointment?
It is a privilege to come alongside you in the discipleship of your child(ren) during our fun and interactive weekly services. However, we know that life outside of weekly services can be challenging.
We are here to partner with you in the challenges as well.
If your child is going through a difficult time; the death of a family member, difficult friendships, divorce, abuse or anything else, we would love to help them navigate through their difficulty.
We provide tools to help your child experience the freedom that comes from knowing the truth about who they are in Christ. Our CARE meetings will empower them with the support they need.
If you would like to schedule a meeting with one of our team members, please complete the CARE Meeting Intake Forms below.
The CARE team member will meet with you, the parent, before meeting with your child(ren) so, please complete the Adult Intake Form for yourself and the Child Intake Form for your child. Once we receive these forms, someone will reach out to you to schedule your appointment.
