Building a Strong Faith Foundation
Hero Kids is a ministry for children from birth through 5th grade, designed to help them grow in faith in a safe, fun, and meaningful way. Each weekend, kids engage in worship, interactive Bible teaching, hands-on activities, and small group discussions that help them understand God’s Word and apply it to everyday life. We create age-specific environments where children can learn to pray, memorize Scripture, serve others, ask big questions about faith, and grow in their understanding of who God is and how He sees them.
Hero Kids exists to raise a generation of HEROES—kids who Hear God’s voice, Explore their God-given identity, Respond to God and others, and Overcome challenges—building a faith foundation for a lifetime.

What age groups does Hero Kids serve?
Hero Kids is designed for children from birth through 5th grade, with classrooms tailored for each developmental stage.
Is kids ministry offered at all services?
Yes! Hero Kids offers full children’s ministry programming during all weekend services.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before service begins to allow time for check-in and to help your child get settled into their classroom.
How does check-in work?
You’ll find self-service kiosks in our Hero Kids area. A volunteer will be available to walk you through the process. Each child receives a name tag, and you receive a matching security tag required for pickup.
What if it’s our first time?
We’ve got you covered! Just visit the Hero Kids First-Time Guest Kiosk, located in the kids lobby and one of our agents will help you check in, walk you to the right classroom, and answer any questions.
Can I stay with my child if they’re nervous?
We totally understand! If your child is hesitant, we’ll work with you to help them feel comfortable. While we don’t allow parents to stay in the room for security reasons, we’re happy to keep you updated and can page you during service if needed.
What safety measures do you have in place?
Every Hero Kids volunteer (we call them HK Agents) completes a background check and thorough training. Our secure check-in system, controlled access points, and strict pickup policies are all designed with your child’s safety in mind.
What will my child be learning?
Hero Kids teaches age-appropriate, Bible-based curriculum that helps kids grow in their faith. Each week includes worship, Scripture, prayer, hands-on activities, and small group time. Kids will learn how to hear God’s voice, understand their identity in Him, and grow in love and courage.
Do I need to sign up ahead of time?
There is a link at the top of the For special events, camps, or family nights, registration links will be posted online.
What should my child bring?
Just bring them! We provide all materials, snacks (if applicable), and supplies needed for class. If your child has allergies or special instructions, let us know during check-in.
How do you handle allergies or special needs?
We are a nut-free ministry, and allergy alerts are printed directly on your child’s check-in tag. If your child has unique needs, we’re happy to work with you to create a safe and supportive experience.
What if my child is sick?
For the health and safety of all children and volunteers, we ask that kids be symptom-free (fever, vomiting, cough, etc.) for at least 24 hours before attending Hero Kids.
Can my older child help in a classroom?
Yes! Students 7th grade and up can apply to be a Hero Kids Sidekick—our student leadership program. More info is available at check-in.
How can I get involved as a parent?
We’d love to have you serve on the Hero Kids team! Once you’ve attended a few times and completed our quick onboarding process, you can join in making an impact.
