Experience the Heart of Pillar

Our heart is that every person who walks through our doors would encounter God’s presence, connect with community, and discover their purpose. Pillar Church is a place where you can come as you are, experience genuine worship, and grow in your faith surrounded by people who care. Whether you’ve been part of church your whole life or are just beginning to explore who Jesus is, we want you to feel seen, known, and at home here.

In this short video, one of our pastors shares the heart behind Pillar and what you can expect when you visit for the first time—because church isn’t just a building, it’s a family, and we can’t wait to welcome you in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I fit in?
L
K
Yes! Our community is made up of people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and experiences. You don’t have to be “like” anyone else—just come as you are.

Where do I park?

L
K
You can park anywhere around the campus, including Hope Clinic, Bedrosians, or street parking along N 78th Way. If you have kids, we recommend the south end near the Kids’ entrance.
Will I be welcomed?
L
K
Absolutely. We strive to create a genuine, friendly community where everyone belongs. You’ll be greeted by people who care, not just those assigned to welcome guests.

Is there a dress code?

L
K
Nope—come as you are. Some wear suits, some wear jeans. Everyone is welcome.
What if I feel distant from God?
L
K
It’s normal to feel far from God or uncertain about His presence. No matter your past or what you’ve done, God’s love reaches you right where you are. We’re here to walk alongside you as you process these feelings.

What is a service like?

L
K
Services are about 75–80 minutes and include music, connection with those around you, and a message from one of our pastors. Song lyrics are on the screens, and conversation prompts help you engage with the community.
What if I’m angry at or disappointed with God?
L
K
You’re not alone. Life can be hard, and it’s okay to have questions or feel hurt. Many people have wrestled with similar feelings, and the Bible is full of stories of people who did too. We welcome honest conversations and support for anyone navigating these emotions.

What about kids?

L
K

Hero Kids is available for birth through 6th grade at every service. Plan 5–10 extra minutes to check them in and get familiar with the area, where safety is a top priority.

What if it’s been a long time since I attended church?
L
K
Welcome back! We understand it can feel a little intimidating. Our hope is that you’ll feel at home and see that things might look and feel very different from your previous experiences.

What about students?

L
K
  • Middle school: Sundays during the 12:00 PM service (north end of the building, near the Story Cafe)

  • High school: Sundays at 6:00 PM here at the church

What if I have questions when I arrive?

L
K
Ask anyone on our welcome team! They wear lanyards that say “How may I help you?” or visit the Connect desk in the lobby.

The Connect Card

When you arrive, you’ll find a card in the seat pocket in front of you. Filling it out is a simple way for us to get to know you, hear about your interests, and answer any questions you might have.

If you’re not ready to connect in person, no worries — you can take a card home with you, fill it out later, and bring it back the next time you visit. You can drop it in the Tithes & Offerings box by the doors as you exit. Either way, it’s a great first step toward letting us welcome you and help you feel at home.
